Remunerating the courier or shooting him, contingent upon the sort of news he brings, is known to have been drilled by lords before. While the previous is very adequate, the last doesn't extend the ruler in a decent light. As per the bet they had with the Kauravas, the Pandavas who had lost their subsequent dice game, went into oust for a long time and stayed undercover for one year.

They presently needed their realm back. However, Duryodhana was in no disposition to give them even a needlepoint of land. Krishna accordingly embraced to be their minister and went to the Kaurava capital Hasthinapura to meet Duryodhana. The Kaurava ruler invited Krishna and welcomed him for supper. Krishna declined the greeting saying, "Honorable ruler.

A decent emissary never acknowledges blessings or diversion until his item is satisfied." He rather ate with Vidhura, the honorable uncle of Duryodhana.

The following day, while Krishna went to the Kaurava court, Duryodhana intended to capture him and put him in jail. He thought, with Krishna in jail, he could direct terms to the Pandavas. Krishna anyway knew Duryodhana's goal and cautioned him that he was encircled by the entirety of his powers, despite the fact that they were imperceptible to the Kaurava sovereign.

Krishna at that point showed himself to Duryodhana in a structure which secured the universe. A terrified Duryodhana promptly surrendered hurting Krishna.

Krishna's crucial, was a disappointment as Duryodhana was in no temperament to yield. The two camps began getting ready for the war.
