Tenali Rama was known for his comical inclination. Truth be told, lord Sri Krishnadevaraya used to make the most of his clever comments in any event, when they were focused at him. Here is one such story. 

Sri Krishnadevaraya was supposed to be partial to ponies. He used to have a fine assortment of them in his pens and would consistently hope to include uncommon varieties from over the world to his assortment. 

At some point, an Arabian pony merchant visited the ruler's court and educated him that he had brought the best pony from Arabia. He mentioned the ruler to see the pony. 

Sri Krishnadevaraya analyzed the pony, and it was in fact a wonderful animal! He quickly communicated his enthusiasm for getting it. The merchant at that point stated, "Your highness, I have two all the more such ponies with me in Arabia, and it would be my pleasure to carry them to you." 

The lord, who was quite intrigued by the pony, consented to purchase the other two ponies also and paid the broker 5,000 gold coins as a development for the remainder of the ponies. The broker took the cash and vowed to come back with the ponies. 

Months passed, yet there was no indication of the merchant. This started to inconvenience the lord. To facilitate his brain, he went on a stroll in the imperial nurseries. There, he spotted Tenali Rama sitting under a tree and writing something on a bit of paper. The inquisitive lord asked Rama what he was composing. 

Tenali Rama quit composing and demonstrated the lord the paper. It was a rundown of names with the ruler's name at the top. On the head of the rundown was expressed "Rundown of the Biggest Fools in Vijayanagara Kingdom." 

The ruler got incensed and approached Rama for a clarification. Rama answered, "Conciliatory sentiments for adding you to the rundown, your highness. Sadly, it is valid! How could your Greatness trust a more odd, give him a tremendous total of cash, and anticipate that him should return? 

To counter his contention, the lord asked, "Consider the possibility that he truly returns?" To this, Raman answered, "At that point he will be the principal name in the rundown… " and giggled. 

The ruler giggled at this clever comment and grasped Rama for facilitating his strain with his humor.
