The mother of King Krishnadevaraya was strict. One day she came and told the lord that she might want to offer ready mangoes to the brahmins the following morning. The ruler approached his specialists to get mangoes for her. That very night, the ruler's mom passed on. The lord was extremely pitiful, yet he recalled her last wish.

The lord played out all the fundamental strict customs. On the most recent day, he called a few brahmins and requested that they propose an approach to satisfy his mom's last wish. Notwithstanding, the brahmins were covetous. After a conversation, they told the lord that his mom's spirit would find a sense of contentment in particular if the ruler gave mangoes made of gold to them. 

The lord welcomed the brahmins the following morning to part with gold mangoes to them. Tenali Raman heard this and immediately comprehended that the Brahmins were ravenous. He welcomed them to his home to show them a thing or two.

The following day the Brahmins were exceptionally glad to get the mangoes made of gold from the lord. At that point, they went to Tenali's home reasoning that he also would give something great to them. Be that as it may, when they went inside his home, they saw Tenali remaining with the hot iron bar in his grasp. 

The Brahmins were stunned. Tenali revealed to them that his mom had passed on in the wake of experiencing stiffness. She generally wished to consume her legs with the dragsters to facilitate the agony. In this way, he needed to consume the legs of the Brahmins with the goal that his mom's spirit could find happiness in the hereafter.

The Brahmins comprehended his stunt. Feeling embarrassed, they returned back the gold mangoes to Tenali and fled from that point. Tenali restored all the gold mangoes to the King and revealed to him how the ruler had been tricked by the brahmins.
